Integrating Reviews on the Google Store
Users shopping on the Google Store website were frustrated by the lack of product reviews. They had to leave the site to find reviews, disrupting their shopping experience. This project aimed to solve that by adding reviews directly to the product pages.

Background
Customers couldn't find reviews on the Google Store product pages. This forced them to search elsewhere, leading to distractions, potential abandonment of their purchase.

Approach
The solution was to add a review section directly below the product title, with clear star ratings and review counts. This section only shows reviews from Google Store purchases, building trust. The design matches Google Shopping's style for a familiar look.

Design Process
I started by sketching ideas and looking at how other sites handled reviews. I decided to use the Google Shopping review style for consistency. I then created low-fidelity wireframes and tested them with users. Users pointed out the small star icon and that 'expert reviews' should be separate. I fixed these issues by making the stars bigger, adding a review count, and filtering out reviews from other sellers. I then created mockups based on Google Store's visual style.

Usability Testing & Results
Six users tested the design. They all preferred the new design over the old Google Store page, saying it increased trust and made decisions easier. They found the reviews easy to navigate. A usability test score of 88.75 showed high satisfaction with the design.
Impact
Adding reviews directly to the product page significantly increased user trust and simplified the shopping experience, directly addressing user demand. This enhancement has the potential to drive increased sales for the Google Store.
Reflection & Learnings
This project showed me how important it is to listen to user feedback. Even small details, like the size of an icon, can make a big difference. I learned how to create a design that matches a brand's style and builds trust with users.
